The monograph "80 years of Bitola National Theater" by prof. Dr. Ivan Dodovski, launched today in Bitola, contains data that from 1944 to 2024 year the Bitola theater ensemble played 569 premiers and had a total 11.670 performances, which they watched around 3,2 millions of people. They have worked on the Bitola scene so far 135 directors, of which 77 they are Macedonian and visited 58 directors from abroad. The decade of 1985 to 1994 it is called the golden period of the National Theater. An absolute record was set in 1992 year, anyone 226 performances for 84.645 spectators.
