Awakening is a powerful performance that closes it out 22. edition of Dance Fest, bringing strong stage energy and a collective experience that connects the personal and the social.

"Awakening" closes the festival program with a strong collective performance that explores interpersonal relationships, stereotypes and the dynamics between individual and collective identity.
The play deals with established forms of behavior and their deconstruction, opening space for questioning social norms and personal positions in them. The body becomes a medium through which emotions are expressed, conflicts and transformations.
"Awakening" is a process—a journey through personal and collective layers of identity, where each dancer brings their own story, which merges into a shared stage experience. The play culminates as a strong, emotional and visual finale of the festival.
As the closing event of Dance Fest 2026, this performance marks the new chapter of the festival — by going outside Skopje and opening to new spaces and audiences.
